Carol in Oklahoma City
It seems like I’ve had some type of needle in my hand since about the age of 5. Between my grandmother and my high school sewing teacher, the correct way to stitch something was drilled into my head, they didn’t tolerate any of my short cuts. Now I take all the short cuts I can get away with.
I am interested in a wide variety of needlework types and want to try everything, that is why I have so many unfinished projects. Handwork is my favorite.

Also have some older project pics on Webshots.

Hi Carol,
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.
The first picture is a machine embroidery I made, from a picture of droseras. I’ve used Angelina fibers and threads.
There is another piece ready (I mean the background is cut, and the Angelina fibers have been applied) for hand embroidery, just waiting for me to do it…
